Rom. 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

How powerful is the Lord; no really, have you ever considered the scope of His power? Recently, scientists claim to have seen a galaxy 13.4 billion light years away from earth. This is as far out into creation that they have been able to see with the Hubble telescope. 13.4 billion light years!!! Light travels at 286,000 miles per second; how far can it travel in 13.4 billion years? Of course that is beyond anyone’s ability to comprehend, heaven declares God’s greatness and power on purpose. That’s why it exists. If He is that powerful and He actually lives in us what is the outcome? Paul said that the power of God is the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead and that power lives in us. That power effects us, it effects every part of us. He effects our spirit with regeneration, He effects our minds with renewal, and He effects our bodies with healing and renewing life. Here is how A.B. Simpson describes it.
“Inside of all this is the principle of life, and inside of this is the Holy Ghost in the consecrated believer. He is most distinctly represented to us here as a vital force in our material being, a source of life, quickening, exhilaration and physical energy for those that know Him and obey Him. He is the Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead, and He dwells in our mortal bodies as a quickening life. This is not the immortal body of the resurrection, but the mortal frame of the present life which feeds upon the divine life. And this is the secret of living on the life of God. It is thus that our bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost, and our frames are the members of Christ, and partake of the life of our living Head.”
How could this great God live inside of us and we stay apathetic and bored? UNTHINKABLE!!!

His Resurrection power is effecting every part of us as we yield to His love. We Are being transformed and prepared for that great day when we too shall put on an immortal body. Until that day comes stir up the gift of God you have received, He effects you more than you know.
